Following our pressure Southend Borough Council is undertaking a further consultation on swimming in the town.  You can find the consultation at www.southend.gov.uk/swimming

Sadly the council still won't ask people the question 'Do you want to keep a swimming pool in the centre of town'. You can however use the comments box of the survey to show your support for our campaign.

Mike Royston and Labour colleagues in Southend have been arguing for over a year that we need a swimming pool in the centre of Southend. While the new pool at Garons will be ideal for some people, the town centre location of Warrior Square is ideal for families, office workers and students, who might find it difficult to incorporate a trip to Garons into their working day.

Don't leave it to someone else, take action now by filling in the survey.
